Click for Detail	#686 Baby Charm idea My friend Lisa just became a grandmother, so to commorate the event, I made her a hand-stamped copper charm reads "6.08.10, Easton Chance, Grandma Lisa Luvs U", along with a boys face and a pair of baby feet. Strung with an accent beads on copper ball chain. All have been washed with patina for that worn-in look. She'll be able to hang it around a purse strap or on her keys or whatever...maybe on Grandma's diaper bag when Easton comes to visit! Click for Detail	#975 "Namaste" Necklace The design is this piece has been etched into the copper and then I hand-stamped Namaste along one of the spiral edges. The center of the design represents a meandering spiral and means "spirit". Each swirled "v" represents the gesture made in acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul of another. The necklace is accent with the colors of the chakra. The pendant is strung from antiqued copper cable chain with a lobster-style clasp. 18" length. 100% Original tSk design. Pendant size: At the largest points wide and tall it's only 1-5/8". Namaste literally means "I bow to you." The gesture is made by placing our hands together at the heart chakra, closing the eyes, and bowing the head. This is an especially deep form of respect. Click for Detail	#949 Guys "Idea" Necklace This necklace is an example of a custom design piece. Photo #1: features a copper "dog tag" pendant that could be stamped with most anything...name, verse, sports (player) number, just to name a few. The bead I created for this piece was in the theme of the school colors...red, white and blue. Photo #2: features a copper basketball with the player number stamped on it. (Thank you Cindy Hanson for the challenge! She called me inquiring about the dog tag piece above and then challenged me to "could you make it look like a basketball? From there we both searched did a "google" search on how to draw a basketball. I went into the studio, cut a piece of copper, formed some annealed iron wire into the shapes I wanted and hammered the iron into the copper...I was thrilled with my first try! She requested her bead match her school colors of black and orange. She also had me stamp a verse on the back. I'm always up for a challenge! Both pieces are strung on 1.5mm premium leather cording with a pair of double fisherman's bend knots for easy adjusting...it slips over the head and you move the knots to achieve the length you like.
